Membership Benefits

When you join the PTA, you join over 6.5 millions of others nation-wide and over 380,000 New York residents who care about issues that affect kids. Kids and violence. Kids and TV. And of course, kids and school.

Membership is open to anyone concerned with the education, health, and welfare of children and youth. By joining the Barnum Woods PTA you are automatically enrolled in New York State PTA and National PTA.

Membership to the Barnum Woods PTA does not obligate you to run a committee or volunteer your time, but does support the programs offered by the PTA. Arts in Education, Beautification, and Parent-Child Activity Nights are just a few of the programs we run to benefit all of the children at Barnum Woods.

Nassau Region PTA offers many workshops throughout the year to train PTA members in a wide variety of topics that benefit participants both personally and professionally.
